Permits

Title 17 of the Salt Lake County Code of Ordinances defines the Flood Control Permit Program (ordinance: 17.08.020).

Flood Control Permits are required for any activity occurring within 40 feet of the top of bank or the right of way of a Flood Control Facility. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Installation of structures or bridges
• Storm water discharges
• Utility line crossings
• Bank stabilization
• Landscaping
